Well, that's it! I'm on the hook to run 4 miles in a Triathlon relay on April 30, 2006 with my oldest sister and dad. If you're in town, travel down to Tempe and feel free to boo at the slow runner... me. You may even get to see a physical collapse!

TRIBUTE TO THE ARMED FORCES TRIATHLON

The Tribute to the Armed Forces Triathlon celebrates individuals and families in appreciation of their commitment, sacrifice, and bravery for our freedom. This patriotic event will challenge participants with either a Sprint or International distance triathlon. Proceeds from this event will benefit:
FIGHTER COUNTRY PARTNERSHIP the community support and advocacy group for Luke Air Force Base.
CHALLENGED ATHLETES FOUNDATION'S, "Operation Rebound," providing post- rehabilitation support to American soldiers who have suffered a traumatic injury resulting in a permanent disability.

In addition, this race is the Arizona stop for the International Triathlon Union (ITU) Southwest Regional Series Junior Elite series. This ITU portion of Tribute is open to any athlete under 23 who wishes to test their metal against the best young athletes in the Southwest region. ITU Juniors will be racing the Sprint Distance.
